Adam Silverman lighting designer works in opera, theatre and dance.
With Enda Walsh Adam has lit Arlington, The Last Hotel, Ballyturk and Misterman and Enda’s upcoming opera with Donnacha Dennehy, The Second Violinist. Adam’s work in New York includes: Sam Gold’s production of The Glass Menagerie (Broadway); A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (Broadway); Un Ballo in Maschera (Metropolitan Opera); Hecuba (BAM); The Cider House Rules (Atlantic); Power Plays (Manhattan Theatre Club). Adam works nationally and internationally with the National Theatre, Young Vic, Royal Opera, Royal Ballet, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Teaċ Daṁsa, Galway International Arts Festival, Dublin Theatre Festival, Wide Open Opera, Abbey Theater, English National Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, on London’s West End, San Fransisco Opera, the LA Phil and PJ Harvey’s current tour The Hope Six Demolition Project.
